When You Need To Keep Warm

The long cold miserable winter months in the UK make it imperative that the bathroom at least is the one warm room.

When you have a hot bath or shower it is always good to step out and grab a warm towel and dry yourself off in a warm place. Most people will have a radiator in the bathroom connected to the central heating system running all through the property but a heated towel rail should also be considered.

If you generally have the central heating system running at the time you take an early morning or last thing at night trip to the bathroom then you may be happy with the type of radiator that has the dual function of heating both the room and the towels.

There is a large choice in this line of radiator and most are in stainless steel or chrome. The latter is ideal as it does not rust and it also looks good.

Obviously the size of the bathroom and the number of people who use it will have some bearing on the size of radiator you choose to have fitted. There are a lot of towel radiators that are adequate for a single or a couple to each place their towel and there are some very tall multi-railed ones that are ideal for the whole family.

The alternative to a water heated towel radiator might be to install an electric radiator. This is a good option if you want the towels dry and warm all year round and do not have the central heating system switched on.

When you look at this website you will be surprised to see just how many stylish bathroom radiators there are for towel and room warming. Be sure you do not get carried away and order the biggest only to find you do not have enough wall space in the bathroom.

Select the wall you intend to mount the radiator onto and then measure the maximum area the rails can cover before ordering your new bathroom radiator.
